The Battle of Pennsylvania is set for the first round of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs – and now’s your chance to score Pittsburgh Penguins hockey tickets while supporting the Cranberry Foundation.
In partnership with Cranberry Township, the Cranberry Foundation is hosting an online auction for Pittsburgh Penguins playoff tickets for Game 5 of the first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia Flyers. Bidding begins at $87, in honor of team captain Sidney Crosby.
The seats are in Section 107 behind the net. In addition to two tickets, the winning bidder will receive dinner reservations at the Lexus Club and Pittsburgh Penguins merchandise.
All proceeds from the auction will directly support the Cranberry Foundation and its mission to enhance the community's quality of life.
“All of Western Pennsylvania is excited that the Penguins are back in the playoffs, and this is a great chance to not only support our team but to support the wonderful Cranberry community,” said Amy Smith, Executive Director of the Cranberry Foundation. “This is a continuation of the relationship between the Township and the Penguins.”
The auction will close 48 hours before Game 5. If Game 5 is not necessary in the series, the auction and all prizes are voided. The auction is made possible by the Cranberry Foundation, CID Associates Inc., and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
In addition to the ticket auction, fans can participate in a “Message in Lights” campaign by submitting Penguins-themed rally messages on Cranberry Township's and the Foundation's Facebook and Instagram pages. Select messages will be displayed on the electronic sign at the intersection of Routes 19 and 228 throughout the playoff run.
