The Cranberry Foundation recently honored the lasting impact of Dick Hadley with the unveiling of a commemorative bench near the fishing pond along the walking trail at UPMC Passavant Sportsplex at Graham Park.
For decades, Dick Hadley dedicated his time, energy, and vision to helping shape Cranberry Township into the thriving and connected community it is today. Through both leadership and service, he played an important role in guiding the Township's growth while always keeping the community at the center of that progress.
Now, through the Dick and Mary Jane Hadley Heritage Endowment, that commitment to Cranberry will continue for generations.
The bench unveiling ceremony brought together Mary Jane Hadley, members of the Hadley family, the Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors, and the Cranberry Foundation Board to reflect on Dick's contributions and celebrate a legacy rooted in community service and civic pride.
Located along one of Graham Park's scenic walking trails, the bench serves as a lasting tribute to a man whose vision helped create spaces and opportunities that residents continue to enjoy every day.
The Dick and Mary Jane Hadley Heritage Endowment is part of the Cranberry Foundation's Legacy Endowment initiative, which allows individuals and families to create enduring support for the community and causes they care about most. These gifts help strengthen Cranberry for future generations while preserving the values and vision of those who helped shape it.
