There's something sweet happening at Powell Farm, and it's creating quite a buzz.

Did you know Powell Farm is home to an apiary?

Thanks to a partnership between the Cranberry Conservancy and Freesides Farm and Apiary, honeybees have made their home at Powell Farm. Now, their hard work is paying off with an exciting milestone: the farm's first honey harvest.

The apiary is one of the ways Powell Farm continues to grow as a place for agriculture, conservation, and environmental education. Honeybees play an important role in pollination, helping plants and crops thrive while supporting the surrounding ecosystem.

The partnership with Feesides Farm and Apiary demonstrates how local collaboration can create new opportunities for sustainable agriculture while supporting the Cranberry Conservancy's mission to protect and preserve green spaces for future generations.
